AT&T forwarding, all or missed.
On an AT&T phone, forward every call with *21* and a number, or only the calls you don't answer with *61*. You can also set each one in your phone's call settings.
*21* 512 555 0190 #
Every call goes to Jake. Turn it off with #21#.
512-555-0190 stands in for your Jake number.
Or in your phone's settings.
Dial from the phone whose number you're forwarding, then call it from another phone to check.
- 1Open the Phone app, then Settings.
- 2Choose Calling accounts, then Call forwarding.
- 3Pick Always, When busy, When unanswered or When unreachable, and enter Jake's number.
- 4A forwarding icon shows at the top of the screen while it's on.
Worth knowing.
- Dial each code from the phone whose number you're forwarding, and wait for the confirmation.
- Turning off one kind of forwarding doesn't turn off the others.
- The missed-call codes are as Google's help page gives them for AT&T; AT&T's own pages show the settings path.
| Missed calls | Three codes: unanswered (*61*), busy (*67*) and unreachable (*62*). Set the ones you want; each turns off on its own. |
|---|---|
| AT&T landlines | Business landlines use other codes: *72 for every call, *92 for no answer and *90 for busy. |
| iPhone | Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding forwards every call only. Use the codes for missed calls. |
AT&T forwarding, answered.
